July 11, 2016 Wah Lee Industrial Corp. (3010.TT) announced its June 2016 unaudited consolidated sales of NT$3,494M, which was an increase of 3.3% from last month and substantial increase of 11.38% from the same period of last year. Cumulative Jan.-June 2016 consolidated sales was NT$19,038M, increased by 3.26% as compared to the same period last year.
The performance of Wah Lee’s June sales was contributed by an aggressive pull of inventory from customers who are fulfilling the upcoming seasonal demand. Wah Lee’s C/C and Semiconductor industries both showed steady growth from last year. Flat Panel Display industry also showed growth from last month. The industry was recovering from the slowdown in the growth of supply, reheated demand, and gradually rising unit price. The FPD industry view was optimistic and hopefully can grow quarter by quarter. In summary, Wah Lee continues to provide the key raw materials that customers require and is stably growing in terms of quantity and value.
