June 8, 2016 Wah Lee Industrial Corp. (3010.TT) announced its May 2016 unaudited consolidated sales of NT$3,382M, which was an increase of 3.8% from last month and substantial increase of 12.13% from the same period of last year. Cumulative Jan.-May 2016 consolidated sales was NT$15,543M, increased by 1.60% as compared to the same period last year.
During January and May 2016, Wah Lee’s C/C and Semiconductor industries both showed growth from last year. High-end engineering plastics have more diversified applications, including new USB Type C connectors and DDR4 memory sockets, as well as emerging demands from food packaging and medical consumables. Semiconductor benefited from the increasing demand from foundry customer’s advanced manufacturing processes, using Wah Lee’s high-end electronic grade chemicals such as Photoresists and CMP slurry.
