Wah Lee Industrial Corp. announced its December 2013 unaudited consolidated sales of NT$3,055M.
On Jan. 8, 2014, Wah Lee Industrial Corp. (TSE:3010) announced its December 2013 unaudited consolidated sales of NT$3,055M. Compared to last month, the monthly sales increased by 2.93%. Compared to December 2012,the monthly sales increased by 16.41%. 2013 consolidated sales was NT$34,398M.Compared to 2012, the sales increased by 9.04%.
In the fourth quarter of 2013, monthly sales have increased sequentially on customers’ pull-ins for the Chinese New Year. Sales in December picked up and returned to the high level above NT$3B. Sales from the semiconductor sector increased driven by customers’ increasing orders for new manufacturing processes. Sales in high-end engineering plastics decreased for the traditional low season in C/C industries. FPD customers fulfilled ordered for the Chinese holiday season and therefore sales from the FPD sector increased compared to last month. Solar customers’ production capacities remained high utilization rates, but sales from the green sector decreased due to advanced pull-ins in previous months. Sales from the PCB sector climbed due to increasing orders from the newly-developed telecom market segment co-developed with customers.
Due to customers’ strong demands and product expansion, 2013 sales grew in every sector compared to last year. 2014 sales are expected to continually grow driven by customers’ business
growth, product application extension, and market share gains in targeted customers. 2013 sales breakdown by industry is as follows:
