Taiwan’s government approved in this week “Action Plans for Taiwan’s 5G”, planning to invest over NT$20 billion within 4 years, providing strong supports for 5G core technologies and system testing platform.  It will also provide an application environment and help Taiwanese companies to pass the 5G technology hurdles.  The aim is to help Taiwanese companies become major partners in the global 5G supply chain.  The future society is an era of intelligent manufacturing, transportation, medical, and auto pilot-driving, Taiwan companies will become leaders in the critical moment of IoT and integration of virtual and reality services.

Wah Lee has recently penetrated into the sales of 5G optical transceivers and high-end modules.  It also provides a popular material of LCP for the 5G antenna modules and becomes an important partner in the 5G supply chain.  Meanwhile, Wah Lee’s high-end engineering plastics have also reached out to the supply of connectors for 5G high-end servers and smartphones, whether it’s for Board-to-Board or RF(Radio Frequency) connectors.  Wah Lee also distributes a leading Japanese supplier’s LCP(Liquid Crystal Polymer) for low DK, low DF specifications and provides to global and Chinese largest connector makers.  Under the “Action Plans for Taiwan’s 5G”, Wah Lee has already become a representative supplier for 5G and expects to bring a decent growth to the company sales.
