EVAL resins, ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer resins, are characterized by their outstanding gas barrier properties, including an excellent resistance to odor and flavor permeance, and their excellent processability. The key to this balance of characteristics is the combination of the proper copolymerization ratio of ethylene to vinyl alcohol, the carefully selected degree of polymerization and the unique proprietary manufacturing process used in the production of EVAL resins.
