ULTEM is an amorphous thermoplastic Polyetherimide resin which has imide bond to impart excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength combined with ether bond, which gives good process ability.
CHARACTERISTIC
1. Excellent flame resistance: High oxygen index of over 47, low smoke emission and grade approved as UL94V-0/5VA
2. Excellent electrical properties: Dielectric constant and dielectric loss well stable over a wide range of temperature and frequency. Also high dielectric breakdown strength
3. High heat resistance: Deflection temperature under load over 200℃ and long term service temperature of UL Standard over 170
